EasyBank privacy

EasyBank is a single multi-tenant platform operated by EasyKount Technologies Pvt. Ltd. One application serves many institutions. When you sign in you select your institution, and the accounts and products you see are held with that institution, not with EasyKount.

EasyKount is a software provider. EasyKount does not hold deposits, does not originate or underwrite loans, and is not a bank or a financial institution. Your account is held with your institution and is governed by that institution’s own terms.

What this product processes

Identity and contact

Name, mobile number, email address, customer identifier, and the credentials used to sign in.

Account records

Account numbers, balances, deposit products and their schedules, interest accrual, maturity and withdrawal records, statements and transaction history, holds, nominees and joint holders — as held by your institution.

Loan repayment records

Where your institution has issued you a loan, the app displays the loan account, outstanding balance and repayment schedule, and records repayments made. Loans are issued by your institution. EasyKount does not originate, underwrite or price them.

Verification documents

Where your institution collects identity or address documents through the platform to meet its own regulatory obligations.

Field collection records

Where your institution collects deposits through agents, the record of a collection made against your account, including the time and the collecting agent.

Device and diagnostic

Device model and operating system, app version, IP address, sign-in events, crash and error logs, and push notification tokens where you enable notifications.

Who it is shared with

• With your institution, which is the controller of your account records.
• With infrastructure, hosting, security and communications providers that process information on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• With regulators, law enforcement or other parties where your institution or EasyKount is required by law to disclose.

How long it is kept

Account and transaction records are retained for the period your institution is required to keep them under the record-keeping rules that apply to it, which is typically longer than the life of the account. Diagnostic logs are retained for a short operational period.

Also worth knowing

• EasyBank does not use your account information for advertising, and contains no advertising trackers.
• Requests to access, correct or delete account records should be made to your institution, which holds them. We will assist your institution in responding.
